Mission trips into remote areas requires some planning and knowing the right clothes to wear, how to pack and
what the conditions will be once you get there.  In many ways it is a lot like going on backpacking or camping trip.
You can't always count on having a store to run out to in order to get supplies so you will need to be prepared
and have what you will need once you get there to stay safe, dry and comfortable. Here is a
sample packing list
that I have given on some of my short term mission trips (click here).  Below are some suggested retailers for
getting clothing, travel accessories, suit cases, backpacks, maps, audio books for I-Pod, language translators and
various other travel gear.  I have tried to pick companies that are either unique or have reasonable prices on
common things most people might need to get (such as a suitcase...)
